چکیده
In this work, a lumped-parameter Windkessel model of the cardiovascular system that simulates biomechanical parameters human physiology is presented. The object-oriented platform provided by MATLAB-based modeling environment SIMSCAPE employed to compute blood pressures and flows in each heart chamber at various sites vascular tree. hydraulic domain allows determination hemodynamics intuitively from geometrical mechanical properties system, while custom elements pumping action effects respiration on flow. validated comparing predicted with normal during both systole diastole, demonstrating changes arterial breathing are consistent reported physiological cardiorespiratory coupling. capabilities explored through two exemplary case studies: i) pressure-overload failure due aortic constriction, vitro via finite element analysis, ii) single-ventricle Fontan physiology, compared clinical literature. This provides practical tool for calculation parameters, enabling intuitive creation silico representations complex circulatory loops, planning optimization medical interventions, prediction clinically relevant patient-specific hemodynamics.

Role of renal sensory nerves in physiological and pathophysiological conditions.
Whether activation of afferent renal nerves contributes to the regulation of arterial pressure and sodium balance has been long overlooked. In normotensive rats, activating renal mechanosensory nerves decrease efferent renal sympathetic nerve activity (ERSNA) and increase urinary sodium excretion, an inhibitory renorenal reflex. There is an interaction between efferent and afferent renal nerves...

Calcium signals play a critical role in many cell-type specific effector functions during innate and adaptive immune responses. The predominant mechanism to raise intracellular (Ca²⁺) used by most immune cells is store-operated Ca²⁺ entry (SOCE), whereby the depletion of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) Ca²⁺ stores triggers the influx of extracellular Ca²⁺. SOCE in immune cells is mediated by the hig...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

In work on Wistar rats with experimental crush syndrome and acute alcohol intoxication shown that alterations of «metabolic profile» are stipulated by the lymphatic system, which emerges as an active component to urgent adaptation in critical situations. It is shown by the expressed infringements of an exchange of electrolytes in plasma. lymph and myocardium at the rats, that can make a part of...
